WHAT HAPPENED?
My son has always been good with technology. He grew up with it. And yes, I encouraged it. I thought he could handle it. Turns out he couldn’t. He is now 18 years old. His life is all about his computer, his phone, Social Media and his friends. Some of the people he calls friends are only virtual, he’s never met them in person. Things began to spiral downward by the beginning of high school. Drugs, school refusal, school failure, anxiety, depression, self-harm and our lives were out of control.
